Why Fire Cupping Therapy?
Being the nerd that I am, I don't want to lead with the traditional model entirely here as to why fire-cupping might be beneficial. There isn't a lot of science on it, but a significant amount of clinical information. The Traditional Chinese Model suggests that it helps remove stored toxins, trapped heat, and increases overall well-being. Further down the page there is a deeper more nuanced explanation that might make more sense as to why to apply this therapy.
Deeper Fascial Release
Removing Trapped Heat
Reduce Chest Congestion
Deepened Relaxation Response
Hormetic Effect On Skin/Fascia
Improved Range of Motion
Reduced Overall Pain
Mobilization of Lymph
Mobilizing Stored Metabolites
Simply Feeling Awesome ^_^.
This is one of most favorite of Acupuncturists Dr. Wang whom I absolutely adore. Highly recommend him and Gabrielle Anderson.
This is a nice walkthrough so you can see what you'll experience during a cupping session. I only use 90% alcohol for stronger vacuum.
There is also a sound explanation that when creating a constant vacuum on superficial tissue like this, that the deeper muscle tissue below it is neurologically informed to release after being within a sustained vacuum. Possibly from temporarily engorging the tissue with excess blood-flow therefore shifting lymph dynamics and impacting systemic functioning. Plus... It simply FEELS AWESOME. Especially for those who love deeper tissue work. This objectively feels like it tenderizes the tissue to be softer. I encourage most clients to consider this therapeutic tool.
"Words truly cannot express how helpful Brandon has been since I have started seeing him about 5 months ago. I came in with several issues that many Doctors could not help me with. Anytime I come in with different kinds of pain concerns he is able to tremendously lower if not completely relieve the pain I had come in with. He is extremely knowledgable not just in bodywork but has helped so much with nutrition and supplementation as well. I cannot reccomend Brandon enough if you are in need of any Bodywork, or nutritional guidance. You won't be disappointed!."

"Brandon is exceptionally skilled at his craft, and a phenomenal myofascial release therapist. He is devoted to ongoing research and skill development in order to offer his clients his absolute best work in every session. He clearly cares about this client's well being and puts great intention into making sure every session is specifically effective for your needs. I personally have benefitted very much from his work, and he often discovers areas that need attention that I wasn't even aware of until they felt much better, thanks to his thorough and effective treatment. If you're looking for excellent bodywork, give Brandon a try, you'll be glad you did!"
